When a member* completes an accredited Canadian course, they can apply for reimbursement of up to $50.

Apply in 5 minutes or less! Be sure to apply within 12 months of course completion, or they will not be eligible for this benefit***.
Wait for your cheque in the mail.
Once we have verified your teen’s eligibility for this benefit, we will mail them a $50 cheque. It’s that easy!

The Babysitter’s Benefit is a one-time payment of up to $50 for pre-teens and teens to complete an accredited Babysitting course.
This benefit helps pre-teens and teenagers learn basic caregiving skills and start gaining independence.
A course is considered accredited if it has an overseeing governance body, such as WSIB, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labour, etc.
The amount received is up to a maximum of $50, dependent on the invoice amount.
This is a one-time only benefit.
The member can expect to receive their cheque in the mail up to 30 days after applying.
Members should apply within 12 months of course completion.
The eligibility requirements for this benefit include:
- course must be accredited and Canadian
- applicant must be a member for a minimum of 6 months and have an active policy to qualify
- member must be between 11-15 years old
